Redshift evolution of the Amati relation: Calibrated results from the Hubble diagram of quasars at high redshifts

چکیده
Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) have long been proposed as a complementary probe to type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) and cosmic microwave background explore the expansion history of high-redshift universe, mainly because they are bright enough be detected at greater distances. Although lack definite physical explanations, many empirical correlations between GRB isotropic energy/luminosity some directly detectable spectral/temporal properties make GRBs standard candles. Since observed rate falls off rapidly low redshifts, thus preventing cosmology independent calibration these correlations. In order avoid circularity problem, SN data usually used calibrate luminosity relations in redshift region (limited by range for sample), then extrapolate it high region. This approach is based on assumption no evolution relations. this work, we suggest use complete quasar sample $0.5<z<5.5$ test such an assumption. We divide into several sub-samples with different bins, each sub-sample $\gamma$-ray equivalent energy relevant bins. By fitting newly calibrated data, find strong evidence that most commonly Amati relation spectral peak isotropic-equivalent radiated shows no, or marginal, redshift. Indeed, coefficients could maximum variation 0.93\% there coincidence 1$\sigma$.

Cosmological Malmquist bias in the Hubble diagram at high redshifts
The Malmquist bias in luminosity distances for gaussian standard candles is discussed within cosmological models where the Euclidean r3-law for volumes and r−2-law for fluxes is not valid. Furthermore, the influence of K-corrections and luminosity evolution are analyzed. It is noted that the usual way of comparing theoretical predictions and data points in the Hubble diagram (log z vs. m) shoul...

15 صفحه اولThe Evolution of Radio-Loud Quasars at High Redshift
We present results from two surveys for radio-loud quasars. These are (1) a northern survey reaching S 5GHz = 0:2Jy and (2) the Parkes QSO survey reaching S 2:7GHz = 0:25Jy which together cover most of the sky. Both surveys use digitised plate material to identify the majority of the radio sources and CCD images to identify the optically fainter sources. The northern survey was targeted speciic...
متن کاملQuasars and the Hubble Relation
If active galaxies are defined as extragalactic objects with appreciably non thermal spectra then a continuity exists in redshift from the highest redshift quasars to low redshift Seyferts, AGNs and allied galaxies. Evidence is discussed for this sequence to be an evolutionary track with objects evolving from high to low intrinsic redshift with time. At the end of this evolution the objects are...
